at pictures and remember this
quarantine for years to come.
The year everyone had roots or DIY
disasters and photographs to forever
memorialize them.
I am a local stylist at The Loft in Oxford,
Alabama. We are 2 weeks post mandated
closing and I’m currently finding myself
somewhere in between rocking the roots,
grabbing some brown color, and wondering
just how hard it would be to highlight myself
while sitting in the bathroom sink. If you’re

You’re strolling down the aisle and see
that box. “Oh but it’s so easy,” you might
say to yourself. Would it interest you to
know, the chances that the picture on the
box was even achieved by the chemicals
provided within it are minimal? It’s true!
Most “at home” kits air touch their ads
and commercials. That means those
gorgeous sun kissed highlights in that
beautiful brunette you see? That’s right,
photoshopped. You see a rich redhead, I see
