T
he city of Weaver invites you to the
annual Weaver Heritage Day at Elwell
Park on September 9. The day of
celebration kicks off at 8:00 am complete
live music, food and craft vendors, games,
and more.
Volunteers work with the City of Weaver, the
Lions Club, and the Weaver Fire Department
every year to make this event a success.
Five local bands and musicians will perform
throughout the day until the festival ends at
3:00 pm. Admission to the festival, including
the six hours of live music, is free. You’re

encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets
to sit and enjoy the music in the park.
In addition to live music, you will also find
exhibits at the park such as taekwondo and
sword fighting.
Food and drink vendors will serve BBQ,
hotdogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, fried
oreos, peanuts, pork skins, cheese fries,
ice cream, and baked goods. Craft and art
vendors include wood working, pottery,
metal work, jewelry, and more.
