Last month we asked what you were most
excited about when it comes to football
season starting in September. The answer:
getting together with your friends to have
some snacks and root for your favorite
teams! Here are a few of our favorite responses:
Sheila Field: “I can't wait for the college foot
ball games to start. With all the good food,
friends and of course the smack talk!!!”
Patricia Shaffer: “Love the Saturday get togethers with good friends, food and friendly
digs at each other's teams! Can't wait!”
Sheila and Patricia sound like they’d get
along!
Meredith Strain: “So every year our family
gets together with about 6 other families in
our neighborhood and after youth football is
over for the day we all settle in to good food,
fun, and laughter while watching the SEC!!!
Amongst all of that if the Gamecocks are
home we will partake in JSU festivities b/c we
are alumni! Go Cocks! #fearthebeak”

“What I am looking forward to most about
September football season is the bragging
rights at work on Saturdays after the high
schools play and Monday mornings after
college play on Saturday and NFL play on
Sunday's. Everyone's kid goes to different local high schools and whether they win or lose
the convos are interesting. Not to mention the
college bragging right mostly Alabama and
Auburn fans. Football season is just a fun time
