They’ve got an unusual name, but this rib
shack is a prime spot for barbecue, and
they’ve got a comfortable atmosphere that
makes you want to hang out for a while (and
get a second helping of cheddar bacon fries).
Wiseguys is the local favorite pizza shop, with
the original location in Alexandria just a short
trip out of Jacksonville, and a new location
that opened in 2016 just outside downtown
Oxford. In addition to pizza, they’ve got calzones, wings and desserts.

the Deano Burger, two patties with cheese,
bacon and jalepenos that was a finalist in the
