Dog Show
The Anniston Kennel Club hosts their annual dog show Sept. 20-22 at the Woodland Park Softball Complex in Anniston. The event kicks off on Friday night with a softball game between dog handlers and exhibitors against the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. Donations for the Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 unit are accepted but not mandatory. After the game there will be horseshoes, socializing and golf cart races. The dog show is from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, featuring countless breeds and age ranges even puppies! Of course, everyone likes horseshoes and golf cart racing, so there will be more of those events on Saturday during the show. For more information, call the Anniston Kennel Club at (256) 310-7570.
