Meet the new resident of
The Terrortorium

T
he Terrortorium Haunted House and
Amusements has become a landmark
in quaint downtown Oxford. For most
of the year, the building is overlooked,
tucked away at 25 West Choccolocco
Street off Main.
During the weeks leading up to Halloween,
local towns folk flock to The Terrortorium
seeking a thrill. The Terrortorium is open
October 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, and 25-31
between the hours of 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm
on weekdays and 7:00 pm and 12:00 am on
weekends.

On Monday, October 1, 2018, I went to
The Terrortorium around 9:00 pm for an
interview. The business wasn’t open, but I
walked inside.
I found myself lost in the winding hallways
of The Terrortorium. It was dark. The hallways
were narrow. I was alone… or so I thought.
As I felt my way through the blackness I
found a doorway. Inside, I found someone
waiting. Waiting for me. ✽
