he 10th annual Zombie Pub Crawl
promises to be the best bar crawl

“I hope to see this be the biggest crawl of
the year, with 300 plus participants,” says
Karla Eden, Anniston Bar Crawls organizer.
“We’ve made a big push for more sponsors
to allow us the opportunity to do more
advertising, more prizes, and therefore
hopefully more participants.”
The free crawl on October 27 begins
at 8:00 pm. Registration at Cheaha
Brewing Company starts at 7:00 pm.
You may also pre-register by emailing
your name and phone number to Karla
at [email protected]. Pre-
registration ends October 20. Pre-registered
bar crawlers must pick up their bar card and
wristband at Cheaha Brewing Company
between 7:00 and 8:00 pm on the night of
the event.
The first 25 people to pre-register will
receive a free Zombie Bar Crawl t-shirt. You
can get your own t-shirt for $15 during a
pre-sale happening now through October

With registration in the Zombie Bar Crawl
you will get a wristband for drink specials,
free cover charge at applicable locations,

and a bar card which, when completed, is
your entry into the grand prize drawing.
Just like previous bar crawls, participants
must purchase a drink at each venue on
the bar card including: Cheaha Brewing
company, The Smoking Moose, Darkhorse
Saloon, Rack & Roll Billiards, and Peerless
Saloon to be entered into the prize drawing.
The Zombie Bar Crawl will end at Rack & Roll
Billiards at 12:30 am. Prize winners will be
announced at 1:00 am. Prizes include $100
for the best male zombie, $100 to the best
female zombie, a gift certificate for the best
non-zombie costume, and a $500 cash grand
prize. You must be present to win prizes.
In addition, door prizes for gift certificates,
swag, and more will be awarded through the
night.
Karla says she is still accepting volunteers.
“Volunteers are more than welcome to
participate in the crawl after registration
has closed,” she says. Interested volunteers
should email Karla with “volunteer” in the
subject line.
A professional photographer will be on site
to snap a picture of your best zombie pose,
free of charge. So, put on your best costume
and come join the fun at the Zombie Bar
Crawl. ✽
