Walk/Run with 1 mile Fun Run benefiting
The American Cancer Society's Relay for
Life! This will be a fast and flat out and back
course. We have awesome shirts, trophies,
age group medals and door prizes!! Everyone that is registered before October 17th
is guaranteed a shirt! Race day registration
will begin at 6:30am with the 5k at 8am. 1
mile fun run will follow the 5k. Dress up and
try to win a costume award.

the year, but some kids don’t have it that
easy.
• Children who are growing up in foster
care with the Cleburne and Calhoun
County Departments of Human Resources tend to miss out on Christmas dinner,
staring under the tree at presents and
opening up a few special gifts on Christmas Day.
• The Empty Stocking Gala is an annual
charity event sponsored by members of
the community, with a history stretching
back to the event’s founding by Sue Taylor and Colleen Roberts, two members
of Grace Church in Anniston. Each year
the event draws in community members
