OF MICE AND MEN -
CHARACTERS ENTERTAINMENT
Take a turn at
serious drama
with the CharACTers’ “Of Mice
and Men”, the
play adaptation
of John Steinbeck’s bestselling
novella. Migrant
workers George
and Lennie move
from farm to farm
during the Great
Depression, hoping to one day earn enough money to buy
their own farm and “live the dream.” Unfortunately, Lennie is developmentally disabled, with a tendency toward accidental
violence that keeps the pair on the move.
The play tells the story of their final stop
on the way to earning that farm, and
dwells on the nature of friendship and understanding as George struggles to keep
his friend - and those around his friend safe from harm.
The show runs from Oct. 15-17 and 22-24 at
7:30 PM each night. Tickets are $10 and $12
and will be available from charactersentertainment.com in the weeks before the show.
