or at least the trope it introduced: a prince has
been cursed to become a frog, and he
has to convince a princess to kiss him before
7 years pass or he’ll be a
frog forever.

The script and lyrics were written by Melanie Martin
Long of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga.
The music is comprised of original compositions by Dr.
James Woodward, a JSU music professor, and designed
to amplify the fairytale fun for young kids and adults
alike.
The Frog Prince debuts Nov. 8-9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performance Center in JSU’s Mason Hall. Tickets are $5. For
