As the play opens, we see a title character who is unwilling to compromise her spiritual and moral beliefs in defiance of the orders of King Creon. Anouilh uses Greek myth to explore the nature of tragedy, heroic resistance and destiny. His message is as relevant now as it was in the past. For tickets call the JSU Drama Box Office, 256-782-5648.
