the JSU Chamber Singers and A Cappella Choir!

and A Cappella Choir enact a farcical drama. There will be
singing, good and bad jokes and high and low drama. This
year’s story is entitled Once Upon A Madrigal: Love Never
Dies!, and was written by Ellen Abney, Brianna Garrett,
Caylen McCall and Dr. Patricia Corbin.
Join us for a fantastical journey taken by a prince who has

be broken is for a princess to fall in love with him. The end

true love in time? Come find out!

First performed in 1944 in Nazi-controlled Paris, Jean
Anouilh’s adaptation of the Greek classic Antigone is his
best known play. As the play opens, we see a title character who is unwilling to compromise her spiritual and moral beliefs in defiance of the orders of King Creon. Anouilh
uses Greek myth to explore the nature of tragedy, heroic
resistance and destiny. His message is as relevant now as
it was in the past.
