he Rotary Clubs of Anniston presents
the return of Dancing With Our Stars
for its 8th and final year, featuring a
brand new gallery of local celebrities and
persons of note to be paired with local
dance experts.
» Dancer Edith Couch participates in Judge
Phillips’ Calhoun County Drug Court Program as a therapist, helping parents and
children reunite after drug and legal problems cause a separation. Husband Bill Couch
owns Couch’s Jewelers in Anniston.
Dancing With Our Stars has raised more than
$300,000 over the past seven years, with
donations supporting local charity organizations from churches to YMCA, United Way,
2nd Chance and more.

» Johnny Byrd is Chief Professional Officer of
the Boys and Girls Club of East Central Alabama, and is returning for his second year as
a dancer.
Jennifer Young and Jeff Gossett
» Star Pryor is a JSU junior earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology, is the president
of the Circle K organization and runs on the
JSU cross-country team.
» Jennifer Young teaches physical education
at Kitty Stone Elementary and is a championship Cowboy Mounted Shooting competitor.
» Dancer Stephanie Gossett is a registered
dietician and has ballroom danced for a decade with her husband, Jeff Gossett.
» Jeff Gossett is an experienced dancer of
nine years, and directs the bands of Jacksonville High School.

» Star Shane Ruffin is President and CEO of
YMCA of Calhoun County. Ruffin is a new addition to Anniston, having moved to the city
a year ago, and can usually be caught on a
Harley in the evening.
