Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish dancing with Westwood Irish Dance – a
division of the acclaimed Drake School of Irish Dance!
Be sure to stick around for the whole performance, because the dancers will be giving a
workshop to teach some basic steps of Irish dance.
Shamrockin’ 5K Color Run/Walk March 17

Shamrockin 5k Color Run/Walk is held in Downtown Anniston. Main Street Anniston and
the Anniston Council of Arts & Humanities 501(c)3 bring this fun and exciting event to
downtown. The race will begin and end at Zinn Park. This is a fun-filled event the entire
family! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Arts Council, while the remaining
amount raised will contribute to the beautification of Downtown Anniston.
St. Patrick’s Day at the Museum March 17
Where: Anniston Museum of Natural History When: 1:00 - 2:00 pm
There are no snakes to be found in Ireland. Have you ever wondered why? Come explore
the tale behind this strange fact at Anniston Museum of Natural History’s St. Patrick’s Day
program! Visitors will have the opportunity to meet southeastern native live snakes, enjoy
festive St. Patrick themed snacks and drinks, and create snake inspired crafts.
This program is $5 per family and free for members!
Exhibit Hall admission not included. Pre-registration is encouraged. Call 256-237-6766.
