WLJS is
sonville State University ’ s student-run radio station has increased its programming seven times over in the past six months .
Established in 1975 , WLJS 91.9 FM has produced radio names such as “ Speedy ” from the Rick and Bubba show . The station provides a unique opportunity for Communications students to gain hands-on experience producing and hosting live shows .
Students pursuing a broadcast concentration are required to log credits in radio workshop by contributing to the station ; however , all JSU students are welcome to work at the station .
