MCCLELLAN ROAD RACE
Calhoun County’s weekend of biking continues on
Sunday, April 3, with the McClellan Road Race.
The race follows a massive, 22 mile loop around Fort
McClellan that travels through Mountain Longleaf
National Wildlife Refuge and the Anniston Eastern
Bypass, with challenging climbs throughout the race.
The 60-mile elite women’s race starts at 9 a.m., with
the 80-mile men’s elite race starting at 1 p.m. Both
races have a grand prize of $12,000.
