lthough it may not seem like it, spring will arrive eventually. Warmer weather usually
means turning your attention to outside projects. Don't forget about your grill! It has
sat either dormant in your garage or outside in the cold, so it'll take a little time to get it
ready for heavy use this spring and summer.
This is the time of year that many of us outdoor barbecue lovers anticipate. The snow, ice and
cold weather of the winter are becoming less common and the ground is starting to thaw. Yes,
many “grill masters” these days grill throughout the winter. This is true especially for those
out there using gas grills. For the people that enjoy grilling on their charcoal grills though the
winter months can be tough as it becomes harder to keep a strong heat source going in the
grill with the ambient temperature outside below freezing. Fear not, March is here and that
indicates increases in daily high temperatures and more favorable grilling conditions. It also
means it’s time to get your grill ready for the new season.
Here are some tips to get ready for grilling
season…

At least once a year we recommend disconnecting, cleaning,
and reconnecting all tubes and
hoses. Things swell, shrink, rot and rust in

cold weather––and propane leaks can take
all the fun out of that first BBQ of Spring! A
good rule of thumb: if you see something
that makes you think, “I wonder if I should replace that?” I should. Is there a loose wheel, or
a squeaky hinge that’s going to bug you for
