Level 1 and Level 2 Restrictions:
• Males cannot weigh more than

about two-thirds of the anglers on Lake
Guntersville target largemouth bass,
although bream, bluegill, redear sunfish
and longear sunfish, crappie, sauger and
catfish attract their fair share of anglers.

Town Creek Fishing Center, located near the
mouth of Town Creek on Alabama Hwy 227,
offers two boat ramps, flat bottom, canoe,
pontoon, kayak, and bass boat rentals,
as well as a gas pump on the water for
personal use. Town Creek has an accessible
fishing pier, and a fully stocked store for
snacks, beer, ice, drinks, and all your fishing
needs.

Lake Guntersville State Park has over 38
miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails
among the 6,000 acres of land in and
around the park.
