A
Night in New Orleans returns
to downtown Anniston. The
second annual event benefits
The Right Place for Housing and
Support, an organization which provides
affordable housing and support to the
homeless in Calhoun County.
On June 16, you’re invited to Classic on
Noble, 1024 Noble Street, to experience the
flavor of the French Quarter complete with
dinner, live music, and a cash bar. The fun
begins at 7:00 in the evening. Tickets are $50
per person. Please RSVP to lori.floyd@the-
right-place.org by June 11.
Lori Floyd, Director of The Right Place,
says A Night in New Orleans is not your
typical “sit and listen to the band” night
out. “Everybody sings along and you pick
your song,” she explains. “I think that’s what
makes it kinda unique.”
Classic on Noble will transform into a piano
bar for A Night in New Orleans, setting
the stage for the main attraction, Victoria
Amato, who will take her seat at the baby
grand piano again this year. Amato brings
the sounds of New Orleans to Anniston, and
invites everyone to join in the fun. Hand in a
song request and belt it out with the rest of
the crowd.
