The
biggest party in the south
returns this year for its 6th
annual Rock The South on
June 2-3. The event has become a favorite
for country music fans, and is bringing in
big names to Heritage Park in Cullman,
1705 Lee Ave. Southwest.
With a heart for giving back, the festival
has given more than $400,000 to local
charities such as Childhaven, Cullman
Parks and Recreation, The Link, Alabama
Forever, and many more. In fact, the first-
ever Rock The South was intended to be a
one-year celebration of recovery from the
tornado outbreak on April 27, 2011. Rock
20
the South means to represent southern
culture, family, and giving back.
Luke Bryan will headline the festival on
Friday, June 2, followed by Sam Hunt
headlining on Saturday. Calhoun County
favorite Riley Green will also take the stage
on Saturday.
Tickets are going fast. At the time of this
writing, platinum, VIP, and ultimate VIP
tickets are sold out, along with parking
passes and glamping cot and tent rentals.
General admission tickets are $99 for two
days of music, and Front Porch Seating
tickets are available for $650.
