Celebrate America’s Independence
during Oxford’s annual Freedom
Festival at Oxford Lake, 401
McCullars Lane on Thursday, July 4.
The all-day event includes free favorites such
as the parade, pet show, carnival games, and
of course an amazing fireworks show. Food
vendors will be set up in the park this year.
In addition, there is a free concert from the
Atlanta Pops Orchestra Ensemble in the Park.

am. (Games end at 11:30) Swim races start at
1:00 pm at Oxford Lake Swimming Pool.
The Atlanta Pops Orchestra Ensemble
concert begins at 7:30 pm before the main
event, the fireworks show, which is set to
blast off at 9:00 pm over Oxford Lake. ✽
The festival will kick off at 8:00 am for the
“Around the Lake Ramble” for senior adults,
followed by the parade at 9:00 am. Children
are invited to dress in patriotic clothing and
may walk or ride non-motorized vehicles in
the parade down McCullars Lane. Kids, don’t
forget your helmets!
The petting zoo and tricycle/bicycle races
begin at 9:30 am before the pet show at 9:40
