uitar, mandolin, piano, drums, bass,
ukulele, harmonica, spoons… Local
musician Brandon Butler can play it
all, but these days he says, “It’s just me and
a guitar”
Butler has been playing music in Calhoun
County for more than 20 years. “I’ve been in
lots of bands here, and I kind of felt like it was
time to get back out there and play again,” he
explains. “I’ve been playing the local circuit,
and it’s really going good.”
Not only a talented musician, Butler is also
a songwriter. “I’m always singing, always
writing… I actually have 25 or 30 originals
right now that I’m waiting to record.”
“My goal will be to probably get a three song
demo and just kinda do Spotify and iTunes
and Apple Music and just kind of entrepreneur
it,” he says “Give me something to put out on
the table and then kinda see where that goes.”
