We’ve compiled a list of 51 attractions in
Northeast Alabama and our surrounding
areas to help make the rest of your sum-
mer a blast. Each one of these attractions
are family friendly and are within driving
distance of Calhoun County.

Picnic, Fish, Swim, Hike, or Camp at
Cheaha State Park
Explore all there is to do in Calhoun County’s
backyard!
The six-acre Cheaha Lake offers some of the
best recreational bass and bluegill fishing in
the area. Three beautiful waterfalls are found
just a short distance from the Cheaha State
Park in the Talladega National Forest. Cheaha

Falls, High Falls, and Devil's Den. Rent a
space for primitive camping or reserve a cab-
in overlooking the breathtaking views from
Alabama’s highest point.
Day use fees apply for Cheaha Lake and park
entry. Parking fees may apply to access trails.
