Picnic, Fish, Swim, Hike, or Camp at Cheaha State Park Explore all there is to do in Calhoun County’s backyard! The six-acre Cheaha Lake offers some of the best recreational bass and bluegill fishing in the area. Three beautiful waterfalls are found just a short distance from the Cheaha State Park in the Talladega National Forest. Cheaha 6 Falls, High Falls, and Devil's Den. Rent a space for primitive camping or reserve a cab- in overlooking the breathtaking views from Alabama’s highest point. Day use fees apply for Cheaha Lake and park entry.
