Whitney Champion said she’d pack a little bit of mirth and magic, bringing along The Breakfast Club (awesome), The Hangover (awesome) and any Harry Potter movie (potentially pretty awesome to really darn awesome, depending on the flick). Frequent troublemaker Scotty Royal suggested a pleasant film to ease your mind while relaxing in your island paradise: Jaws, a handy survival guide for living near shark-infested waters. Step one: get a bigger boat! He’s also INSIGHT bringing along Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? and a copy of Dirty Dancing, just in case he’s stranded with the missus. Debra Parker Thomas decided to bring along a bit of the South on her permanent island getaway, packing Fried Green Tomatoes, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Big Fish, all set in the southern states with a touch of country charm. Reader Randy Young decided to roll with the classics: a copy of Gone with the Wind, Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz. If only there were some way to combine them… Gone with the Wizard of Star Wars!
