Find Your Inne

How to

Find Your Inne

Of all the challenges we encounter on a journey of selfdiscovery, finding your inner voice can be one of the most frustrating.
But it can also be one of the most rewarding.
After all, your inner voice is your direct line to your Higher Self. It’ s where all that wisdom and insight can be found … wisdom and insight that will help guide you to your own path of personal growth.
Unfortunately, finding that inner voice isn’ t always so easy. For starters, we’ ve been tuning it out for years, choosing instead to listen to other, less enlightened aspects of ourselves. And those aspects can be very, very loud.
But fear not … you can learn to tune out those other voices and tune into the voice that represents the Real You …
And here’ s how you do it:
First and foremost, you need to identify who’ s doing the talking. In general, we have a variety of different voices running through our head, each serving a specific purpose in our ability to function on a day-to-day basis.
The Inner Critic is the voice you’ re probably most familiar with, because it’ s the one that shows up to remind you of all failures and shortcomings. This voice is the result of years of negative programming … programming that says you can’ t, you shouldn’ t and you’ re crazy for even thinking about it. The Inner Critic is the overbearing parent, the judgmental teacher, the controlling boyfriend and the obnoxious boss all rolled into one … and if you have this voice, it is the voice that speaks loudly and beats down your ambitions with a big stick.
The Realist is a little like the Inner Critic, just not as abusive.
