Find Your Inne

How to

Find Your Inne

Of all the challenges we encounter on a journey of selfdiscovery , finding your inner voice can be one of the most frustrating .
But it can also be one of the most rewarding .
After all , your inner voice is your direct line to your Higher Self . It ’ s where all that wisdom and insight can be found … wisdom and insight that will help guide you to your own path of personal growth .
Unfortunately , finding that inner voice isn ’ t always so easy . For starters , we ’ ve been tuning it out for years , choosing instead to listen to other , less enlightened aspects of ourselves . And those aspects can be very , very loud .
But fear not … you can learn to tune out those other voices and tune into the voice that represents the Real You …
And here ’ s how you do it :
First and foremost , you need to identify who ’ s doing the talking . In general , we have a variety of different voices running through our head , each serving a specific purpose in our ability to function on a day-to-day basis .
The Inner Critic is the voice you ’ re probably most familiar with , because it ’ s the one that shows up to remind you of all failures and shortcomings . This voice is the result of years of negative programming … programming that says you can ’ t , you shouldn ’ t and you ’ re crazy for even thinking about it . The Inner Critic is the overbearing parent , the judgmental teacher , the controlling boyfriend and the obnoxious boss all rolled into one … and if you have this voice , it is the voice that speaks loudly and beats down your ambitions with a big stick .
The Realist is a little like the Inner Critic , just not as abusive .
