We hope you have enjoyed Insight this past year and we look to make 2018 even better. READ OXFORD LOCAL COMPETES ON HUNTED Oxford native Emiley Cox and boyfriend, David Windecher, competed in CBS show HUNTED for a grand prize of $250,000. Emiley and David were on the run in a real- life manhunt trying to outsmart the FBI and US Marshals. Our favorite fugitives didn’t win the cash but they won our hearts. READ FIRST ANNUAL JAMFEST AT JSU The first annual Jamfest hosted local craft vendors and musicians on the campus of Jacksonville State University on May 20. Art booths, drama performances, food vendors, workshops, and more were all part of the festival. 6 READ CHEAHA CHALLENGE The “Toughest Ride in the South” marked its 25th year. The 2017 Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo Century ride had the honor of serving as the only UCI Gran Fondo World Championship Qualifier in the United States, which attracted riders from all over the world. READ NOBLE STREET FESTIVAL One of Calhoun County’s largest annual events welcomed dozens of food, craft, and activity vendors which lined the streets of Noble Street in downtown Anniston.
