Pat Pickle

What some call trash , Pat Pickle calls treasure . He creates art from items many wouldn ’ t give a second glance .

From dumpster diving to yard sales , Pat finds items any and everywhere for his works of art . “ I do a lot of dumpster diving , yard sales , estate sales and I ’ ve bought so much stuff now that I could be on the show , Hoarders .”
Pat has a knack for pulling emotion out of different pieces , creating something larger with them . Some of the strangest creations he ’ s ever made were inspired by the BP Oil Spill of 2010 , “ It was a giant lobster , but it was mutated real bad and it said some things about BP like , ‘ Thanks a lot BP .’ Pat admits that this piece was creepy on a tar black background , but he made it for a friend who was a big fan of his work .
Pat is a multi-talented artist with a background in guitar . He says he began creating his art when he was performing regularly at Back Forty Brewery in Gadsden . “ I used to play
