O ’ Leary bought the Compass building in September 2015 , and began renting space about a year later . Once plans formed for The High Pointe he called in Curtis .
O ’ Leary , Curtis , and Osborn share ownership in the restaurant , but Curtis will manage the daily operations . A musician himself , Curtis was sure to include plans for a stage for regular live entertainment . O ’ Leary sees the potential for Anniston and is looking for the town to grow , “ We want [ The High Pointe ] to be the cornerstone of the new Anniston ”.
In addition to specialty foods and live music , The High Point is outfitted with the potential to live-stream music and events straight to youtube . Curtis stresses that the goal is for everyone to feel welcome at The High Pointe , “ Whether you have $ 20.00 to spend or $ 150.00 to spend we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy yourself .” ✽

• Lunch 11:00am - 2:00pm
• Dinner 4:30pm - 9:00pm
• Live entertainment 9:30 until - on select evenings
• Tuesdays - Closed , available for private events
• Sundays - Open only for brunch
