dancing with
our stars 2015
A
nnual charity dance-off Dancing
With Our Stars is coming March 7,
featuring ten couples composed of
Calhoun County’s best and brightest local
celebrities.
As in prior years, couples are paired randomly
from a list of volunteers recruited by the Morning and Noon Rotary Clubs of Anniston and experienced area dancers, who then start practicing for the show in March. As couples study
their dances together, the volunteers can find
themselves performing maneuvers they never
thought possible.
Last year’s event sold out, so buying tickets
early is encouraged. General admission is $25
and VIP seating is $90, which includes meeting
the dancers, food, drinks, a DJ and dancing.
Call Edgar and Associates at (256) 237-1773
for ticket information and visit dancingforrotary.com for more information, including dancer
blogs and detailed charity information.

“Last year, my supervisor, Gayle Macolly
danced with Dr. Bob Garner and they won the
Community Choice award and tied for Audience Choice,” said Carolyn Kirk, a member of
the Rotary. “Gayle had no formal lessons and
she ended up being able to do lifts and many
difficult steps. It’s amazing how well the couples dance at the event.”

Girls Club) and Randi Jo Owens
