he big V-day is coming up soon, and Calhoun County area restaurants
are gearing up to help give you the perfect romantic evening out with
that special someone. Here are some of the great choices already announced in the area:
Cheaha Mountain Restaurant
Sweetheart Dinner Buffet from 4:30-8:30 p.m., featuring a variety of salads, smoked oysters, a cream
cheese log, soup, lasagna, pasta, chicken alfredo,
roast beef au jus, fried whole catfish, lemon pepper
chicken breast and more. Red velvet cake and chocolate fondue with fresh strawberries for desert, and
sparkling cider to finish the meal. $13.95 per person.
Greens and Beans
Dinners for two — two steaks, two salad bars, two
dessert bars, two meat bars and two vegetable bars
for $29.99.
Classic at Buckhorn
Two and three-course dinners will be served from
the menu, including chocolate desserts. Limited
seating, prices to be determined. ✤

Heroes
A variety of meals for two, like grilled pork loin with
pineapple mango glaze, two sides and two salads
($24.95); shrimp and New York strip or filet mignon
steaks for two ($39.95); grilled salmon ($14.95); colossal shrimp ($17.95); and 14 ounce ribeye, 12 ounce
New York strip or 8 ounce filet mignon ($18.95). Top it
off with strawberry shortcake, red velvet cheesecake
or a rockslide brownie for $3.99.
Hubbard’s Off Main
Grilled Mero sea bass over caribbean rice with
pomelo segments; half pound elk rib-eye steak,
grilled with wild mushroom ragout; and dessert
for two: a phyllo dough wrapped cheesecake topped
with chocolate ganache. Price to be determined.
Classic on Noble
Offering appetizers and desserts from a chocolate
dessert buffet with a chocolate fountain and dinner from the menu while Tracy Tyler’s three-piece
jazz group sets the mood. $125 per couple. A quiet
dinner is served upstairs with regular menu items at
menu prices.
