Two-time Grammy award-winning country music artist Travis Tritt comes to the Oxford Performing Arts Center with a special solo acoustic
performance Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. The seven-time
platinum selling artist will perform from his
enormous catalog of hits, including favorites
like Foolish Pride, Best of Intentions and Anymore, as well as songs from his new album, The
Calm After. Tritt’s tour has already sold out shows
in South Carolina and Atlanta, and is certain to

Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Vince Gill
and Amy Grant, who released the first Christian
album to reach Platinum sales status, will be coming to Anniston for a performance with the Knox
Concert Series Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. The husband
and wife team will perform selections from their
individual catalogs as well as duets like their hit
song House of Love. Season tickets are no longer
available, but limited general admission tickets

and Baby Contest, on February 22 at 11am. Winners
will go to the State Finals in May to represent...
25- Tiny Tots Lapsit Storytime at Jacksonville City Library – 10 am - Jacksonville Public Library will offer a
“lapsit” storytime for children ages 0-24 months every
second and fourth Tuesday at 10am beginning September 10. The child will sit in the parent’s lap while
engaged in stories, music, finger plays and other fun
age-appropriate activities. Older preschool children
who accompany their parent and sibling will serve as
helpers. Lapsit will start promptly at 10am and will last
approximately 30 minutes. Parents are welcome to
stay longer to share with other parents. It is free and
there is no sign-up required
