Room Spray 2. Next, take your essential oils and do a total of 25-30 drops in the water. Source: designlovefest.com 3. Measure out 1 oz of vodka or gin and pour into the bottle. The ratio I use is 6 oz dis- tilled water/1 oz alcohol. If your bottle is smaller or larger, you can adjust accord- ingly. 4. Take your dried flowers and cut a sprig that is just smaller than your bottle. Put the lid back on the bottle and shake it a few times, mixing the ingredients. 5. Take off the lid and carefully push your sprig into the bottle with the branches facing up. For really delicate stems, you can use tweezers. 6. Finally, I like to make a simple label using a thin piece of masking tape. Place the label on your bottle and violá! What You Need: • glass bottle with mist nozzle • essential oils • distilled water • vodka or gin • dried flowers • measuring cup or kitchen scale for ounces • masking tape There are a ton of different options when it comes to the scent the the essential oils you use. Here are some of examples: • Bergamot and lavender • Lemon and sage • Camomile, orange and sandalwood • Ginger and mint • Cedarwood and tea tree • Rose, lavender and sage • Eucalyptus and lemon • Bergamot, ginger and cedar-wood • Orange and rosemary Instructions: 1. If you’re buying fresh flower to dry, tie a string around the ends and hang upside down for a week.
