Copper Candles How to make it: 1. Cut your wax into small chunks and place in jar or can. 2. Place the jar in a saucepan 1/2 full of water – make sure water level is below the mouth of the jar. 3. Heat over low-medium heat, continuously stirring the wax. 4. Add fragrance once wax is completely melt- ed. (1 oz of fragrance to 1 lb of wax.) Stir to combine. 5. Hot glue the wick to the center of the copper cap. To keep the wick in place, use a clothes pin across the top of the cap that holds the wick in the center. 6. Remove the jar from the hot water. Use pot holders! 7. Slowly and carefully pour melted wax into the copper caps. 8. Allow wax to cool completely and trim wick to about 1/2". Source: themerrythought.com What you need: • Wax (large unscented candle) • Wide mouth jar or can • Fragrance • Hot glue • Wicks • Copper Caps Find them HERE Foot Soak Source: tidymom.net What You Need: • Epsom Salt • Baking Soda • Lime Zest (optional) • Lime Essential Oil • Peppermint Essential Oil • Food Coloring (optional) Directions: Combine 2 cups of Epsom salts with 1/2 cup baking soda and zest of one lime in a large bowl, and add 3-4 drops of lime essential oil and 3-4 drops of peppermint essential oil. Stir with wooden spoon to mix thoroughly. (optional, 32 you could add just a drop of green food coloring if you’d like) Pour the mixture into a jar or bag, and use within a few weeks. *store in a cool dark place, like the refrigerator if using lime zest.
