Different colors prompt you to rub
the egg if the Hatchimal is cold or
tap on the egg to scare away hick-ups. By holding your Hatchimal on the
bottom of the egg you will hear its heartbeat.
Watch for multi-colored flashing eyes. That’s when your new best friend is
ready to peck its way out of the egg. Once out of the shell your Hatchimal
will serenade you with its very own version of “Hatchi Birthday”.
Most retailers selling Hatchimals at the original price of $59.99 are sold out,
but don’t fret! Some are still available on Amazon if you’re willing to fork
over a minimum of $159. According to the manufacturer, “…a whole new
batch of Hatchimals will be ready to hatch in early 2017.”
