Candy Cane Wreath Looking for an afternoon project for your outof-school children or a Sunday School craft? This Candy Cane Wreath is perfect! What You’ll Need: • 18 Candy Canes • 2-4 Feet of Ribbon • 1 Plastic Ornament (optional) • Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks Instructions: 1. Place a dot of hot glue on the tip of the short, curved end of one candy cane. Quickly press the tip of the short, curved end of a second candy cane onto the dot of glue and hold for a few moments until the glue is dry. 2. Your candy canes should form a heart shape. 3. Continue this process with pairs of candy canes until you have 9 heart shapes. 4. Lay out your heart shapes in a circle. Pointy ends together at the center. 5. Your heart shapes should be touching on the long straight side of the candy canes. 6. Go around the circle gluing together each long, straight side. 7. Once dry, flip your wreath over and glue the ornament into the center of the wreath. 8. Tie your ribbon onto the top, and your Candy Cane Wreath is complete. 14 December 2016 INSIGHT
