celebrates it’s 89th birthday
he Anniston Museum of Natural
History has been a staple in our
community for nearly nine decades,
providing exceptional resources, education,
and exhibits.
In celebration of AMNH’s birthday, and as
a thank you for continued support, you
are invited to tour both the AMNH and the
Berman Museum free of charge during
Anniston Museums and Gardens Day on
Saturday, August 24. Both museums will be
open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Enjoy hands-on history, live animal
encounters, and fun crafts from 10:00 am
until 2:00 pm. Purchase a snack from Izzie’s
Treats and enjoy all that Anniston Museums
and Gardens has to offer.
The Anniston Museum of Natural History,
the Berman Museum, and Longleaf Botanical
Gardens each offer unique educational and
extracurricular opportunities for children and
adults alike.
In addition to traveling exhibits, Anniston
Museums and Gardens provide a full calendar
of events such as Sunday Stroll, a guided tour
of Berman Museum; Saturday Alive!, a series
that features a variety of topics and animal
species; and Third Thursday in the Gardens,
programs which range from speakers
to crafts.
