Contes t
I
t’s August, so school is mere days from
being back in session. We at Insight are
all thankfully way past the point of being taught anything, but we feel for the rest
of you college kids, high schoolers, young
kids and preschoolers about to take their
first shaky steps into institutional learning.
We feel for you, but don’t worry, because
we’ve got one more movie contest for you
as the summer winds to a close: what’s your
favorite flick about school?
That’s high school movies like The Breakfast
Club, kids movies like Snow Day and even
college stuff like Animal House. But here’s the
twist: we want to know what it is that makes
you dig that movie. Does it remind you of
you and your friends? Was your sister cast
as an extra in the movie? Did Fast Times at
Ridgemont High change your life? We want
to know. Alternatively, we want your favorite
quote. “You mess with the bull, you get the
horns,” you know?
A winning answer will be selected at random
from the responses to receive a prize of four
passes to AmStar Theater at the Quintard
Mall! Just submit your answer through the
form on this page or the back of the magazine to enter. See you next month, and good
luck!
