Jordan Davis is a Shreveport-born,
Nashville-weathered creative soul with his
feet firmly planted in two different eras. same songs embodies the genre-defying
musicality of such current acts as Eric
Church, Sam Hunt, and Lady Antebellum.
The imagery in his songs relies on the same
specificity behind such classic, lyrically-
driven songwriters as John Prine, Jim
Croce and Bob McDill. But the tech-tinged
production and silvery phrasing in those Jordan’s debut album, Home State, dropped
in March 2018, and he is already working
on his second album. He joined Kip Moore
on tour in fall 2018 and scored his first No. 1
hit, “Singles You Up”.
