Pediatrics Plus presents 6th Annual “ Aces for Autism ” Gala , held at The Buckner Event Plaza of Fort McClellan , Saturday , April 29 , 2017 , from 6:00 p . m . until 10:00 p . m . to benefit children served by The Learning Tree . Tickets are $ 125 per couple , or $ 75 per single . Only 350 tickets will be available for purchase . The 2016 event was sold out .
Each ticket includes evening beverages ( ages 21 +), $ 500 in gaming chips , and door prize entry . With April being designated as National Autism Awareness Month , our Cocktail Attire ‘ Casino Night ’ is a great way to spread awareness and acceptance for the children of The Learning Tree programs .
Catering , by Garfrerick ’ s Café , featuring Chef Stations where food will be cooked on site and served directly to you ensuring a fresh from the grill experience . Food served will include their signature shrimp and grits specialty , roast beef carving station , and a salad and pasta bar . Desserts will keep attendees palates wanting more with their white chocolate bread pudding with raspberry drizzle and key lime pie . Coffee station will be available with cookies .
Gaming Tables , provided by Goodfellas Gaming , will be available throughout the venue , including Black Jack , Texas Hold ’ em Poker Tables , Roulette , and Craps Tables . Each attendee will receive $ 500 in charity chips to play rounds at the tables of their choice . Chips won will be cashed in for tickets , where everyone will have chances at some great door prizes ! Sponsors will have a special packet waiting on their check-in with extra gaming chips to keep their night full of fun .
Entertainment will include music by 2 Wolves DJ Service of Fort Payne , Alabama , a professional music company with all genres of music at your request .
There will be a silent auction . The auction will include great items donated by local businesses . There will be Alabama Football tickets , Coach purse , specialties made by the children , furniture , vacation packages , artwork , autographed Auburn and Alabama memorabilia , jewelry , gift certificates , and lots more ! The Learning Tree serves more than 600 children , ages 2 through 21 , across Alabama , with developmental disabilities , including autism . The educational and residential programs provide individualized instruction in a nurturing and supportive environment that has proven highly successful in managing the significant behavioral , physical , and cognitive challenges that interfere with learning . The Learning Tree schools are located in Jacksonville , Anniston , Mobile , Tallassee and Auburn .
