“ The band is back !” Ty Magner , of Holowesko | Citadel Racing Team p / b Hincapie Sportswear says he ’ s looking forward to the Sunny King Criterium .
The team returns to the Alabama Cycling Classic after dominating in 2016 . Chief Sports Director Thomas Craven says they ’ re ready to do it again , “ We ’ re one of the few teams that are able to bring a winning squad for both races .”
Ty Magner , Oscar Clark , Andrs Flaksis , Ruben Companioni , John Murphy , and Miguel Bryon will represent the team of 12 at both the Sunny King Criterium and the McClellan Road Race .
According to Craven , a lot of U . S . racing teams specialize in either criterium races or longer road races , but he says , “ We specialize in beating everybody ’ s ass ”.
