L
ast month we reached out to
our readers via our Facebook
page to find out their top three
dishes in Calhoun County. We don’t
care what restaurant it comes from,
who cooks it or whether it has a
pedigree of being on top 10 lists
and recognized by foodies. We’re
just looking for a good meal or
three!
As always, our followers came through
for us, and we’ve got a menu that will fill
you up (and probably leave you ready for
an afternoon nap), with favorites from
all around the county, from rib shacks to
upscale restaurants.
We received more than 90 responses,
and while we weren’t necessarily holding
a contest, Mata’s Greek Pizza, Classic on
Noble and Cheaha Brewing Company seem
to have taken the community by storm
(we’ll get our top scientists to analyze
the numbers before we make our official
report). We pulled 10 random responses to
print here, with the rest up posted on our
Facebook page. Be sure to check out what
everyone had to say and find your new
favorite dish.
