Award-winning bluegrass performer Rhonda
Vincent takes the stage with her supporting
crew, The Rage, bringing decades of touring
experience to the stage at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. Hailed as the “queen
of bluegrass,” Vincent has a history of stage
work, joining her family band at the age of 5
and playing with them up to her discovery on
“You Can Be a Star,” a star searching show on
The Nashville Network.
Vincent performs classic bluegrass songs,
material from her solo albums and rip-roaring instrumentals with The Rage, featuring
a full bluegrass suite of musicians sporting
mandolin, fiddle, banjo and upright bass everything you’d expect from a sure-enough
country band.
The show starts at 7 PM April 18 at the Oxford
Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15-$35
