STUDENTS’ WALL Sumarchana’s Painting Fallen by the Wayside What pain have I been to one that I’m inflicted so much? Why would you, oh my Master, turn your face from me? My heart is anguished; I’m distressed to the core. Have I fallen from your grace and favour completely? What love would give away her dear one to be tormented? How long would you, o mighty One, hold your silence? My days have become a living hell; and I, a living dead. Why do you still not lay me down to rest in your peace? Lhendup’s Photography Brighter days have I seen; and so much more am I promised! My Lord has promised to be close to the broken hearted? I may never be able to understand what ‘God in control’ is, But one thing I do know, ‘my God makes no mistakes’! You may crush my spirit, oh evil one, and take my body. But my soul rests secured in my Master, o yes it is! I might have fallen by the wayside, but I’m not beaten yet. My Lord will pick me up and walk me home, o yes, He will. -Rükhetuolie Theünuo 43
