Graduation 2013
“Living in Christ- Leading in Love”
“Shine Like Jesus”
Graduation Day is the single event that every year has the most participants. The whole CGLD
community, guests, and friends come from all over, just to show support in congratulating the
students.
The theme for graduation service held on March 10, 2013 was “Living in Christ, Leading in
Love.” The valedictorians Brownson Bright B and Rev. Irangani G. Chelliah from the D.Min program spoke on the Graduation’s theme which drew attention of the graduating class to the
priority of world missions. They challenged the students to work fearlessly and leave their
legacy for God.
Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Grant, founder of Project Rescue was the speaker at the Baccalaureate service. She encouraged the graduating batch to not hoard the hope they have in Christ but to
spread it across. She also advised the batch not to become competitors in their ministry, but
rather work together as partners with each other.
The speaker for the commencement service was Rev. Dr. Byron D. Klause, president of AG
theological seminary, Springfield, Missouri, who shared a message from Revelations 21:3-8,
titled “I Will Make Everything New”. It was a blessed & joyous moment to witness 100 students
graduate honorably and begin their spiritual journeys into the harvest fields.
