They are very economical on charcoal too – once you’ ve finished cooking, you simply shut the air vents completely, the charcoal will stop burning and when you are ready to cook again, top up with charcoal and light. They also require very little cleaning as the ceramic inside the oven works in the same way as a self-cleaning oven.
