SOPHIE WILLAN // 1 APR
One of the breakout stars from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016, Brighton Dome presents Sophie Willan with her critically acclaimed debut stand up show On Record at the Marlborough Theatre. Throughout her unconventional childhood and then adolescence, Sophie was often considered‘ a problem child’. In fact, she rarely went to school until she was seven years old before going on to live with various family members, foster parents and housing associations for homeless young people. In this bold show, Sophie guides us through the genuine records that reveal key incidents in her life, retelling each moment in her own unique way.
