HILTON AVISFORD PARK TO HOST NOVEMBER CHARITY BALL
Following the Hilton Avisford Park ' s successful‘ Charity Ball- A Night at the Casino Royale’ in 2015, which raised almost £ 12,000, it is hoped this year ' s event, themed‘ Hollywood Glamour’, will raise even more money for local good causes.
Beneficiaries of last year’ s funds were required to submit a written request detailing what the monies would be used for, and nominations were then discussed by a committee at the hotel with awards granted accordingly.
Recipients of 50 percent of the funds included: Walberton and Binsted CE Primary School; Littlehampton Swimming Club; Arundel C of E Primary School; Fethneys- Leonard Cheshire Disability; Barnham Trojans; Aldingbourne County Primary School; St Richard ' s Nursery Unit; Chestnut Tree House; and Springwood Infant and Junior School. The remaining half went to the hotel ' s charity partner, the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People. The charity ' s mission is to improve the education and wellbeing of disabled, sick and disadvantaged young people; its vision is of a world where all children and young people are able to transform their lives for the better.
The charity ball is a very important fixture in the hotel ' s calendar and is a real opportunity for the hotel team to put on a special event, the proceeds of which will really make a difference to the local community.
The date of this year ' s ball is Saturday November 12th 2016. Tickets are priced at £ 55 for individual tickets, or £ 500 for a table of ten and include a four-course meal; half a bottle of wine per person; entertainment; live band; DJ; raffle; champagne raffle; casino tables; and a silent auction- something for everyone! For further details, or to purchase tickets, please telephone Philippa Redwood on 01243 558306, or email philippa. redwood @ hilton. com. Special accommodation rates are also available on request.
