The main event in a visit to Camber Sands is the sands itself, an
enormous swathe of golden beach that never feels crowded due to its
sheer size, and is simply stunning. Located within minutes of Sandways,
I hopped over the closest dune and walked for miles across the sand on
a sunny Sunday morning before heading back, armed with the weekend
papers, to sit on the garden decking in blissful quiet eating a shamelessly
indulgent breakfast. Life doesn’t get much better than that.
Sandways sleeps 10, but if you’re not in a large group, or would just
