BE INSPIRED AT CENTRAL SUSSEX COLLEGE
Central Sussex College is one of the county’s best-known further education providers,
offering an inspiring range of learning opportunities for school leavers and adults alike.
This vibrant offering of courses engages learners – providing them with the knowledge
and skills they need to achieve their goals and exceed their expectations. Experienced staff
work closely with learners, helping them to get the most out of their study programme,
monitoring their progression and preparing them for work, apprenticeships or further study.
Crawley campus
With a focus on vocational subjects, the
campus boasts specialist facilities from fully
equipped workshops and media suites, to
an industry-standard training restaurant and
commercial hair and beauty salons. At the
forefront of improving the learner experience,
the College recently redeveloped Crawley
campus’ on-site social and study spaces,
thanks to a successful £50K bid for funds.
Learners further benefit from the innovative
partnership with WSCC library services, giving
them access to an enhanced range of digital
and print resources, preferential borrowing and
specialist staff with in-depth knowledge of the
best materials for different subject areas.
The Crawley campus is also home to the
College’s University Centre, in partnership with
the University of Brighton and the University
of Chichester. It offers access to HE courses,
Foundation Degrees and Degree-Level
courses, as well as teacher training and highly
regarded professional qualifications awarded
by the AAT, CIPD, CIM, IOM and CIPS.
Sixth Form Haywards Heath
The recently redeveloped Sixth Form Haywards
Heath is the stand-out option in the area
for young people wishing to continue their
studies in an environment that encourages
independent study and work readiness.
Ofsted rated Outstanding for Performing Arts,
Visual Arts and Early Years Education, the
2015 A-Level pass rate was 98%, with 73% of
students achieving the top A*-C grades.
Horsham Training Centre
Horsham Training Centre is the first stop
for local businesses looking to up-skill their
employees and for individuals looking to
improve their employability. A wide range of
professional courses is taught by experienced
trainers who have a proven track record of
delivering results. There are over 100 short
courses to choose from, including leadership,

management, IT, customer service, and health
and safety. Horsham Training Centre is located
just a short walk from the train station and is
easily accessible by car, with on-site parking
available.
East Grinstead Central
The East Grinstead campus is home to the
College’s Adult and Community Learning
programmes, designed to foster a lifelong love
of learning and activity. The extensive options
in arts and crafts, cookery, IT, languages,
fitness and wellbeing are perfect for exploring
an interest, or developing an existing talent.
