The sunny days and warm evenings might carry on into September (if we’re lucky), but August is officially the last full month of summer. Sigh... Lucky for you (and me), we’ve got you covered this issue, giving you lots of summer activity ideas (p63), and featuring our favourite cream teas in Sussex (p30), so you can relax and unwind with some cake. Sweet, stress-reducing cake. For now, I’ll shove that thought out of my mind and enjoy every moment of sunshine, every al fresco drink and every open air event I possibly can, including hopping over (more than once, I’m sure) to the beautiful town of Arundel. From exploring the majestic castle to visiting the annual Arundel Festival (p16), there’s plenty to experience this summer.
