As I write this on a not-so-summery day in June, I’m gazing out my office window watching the sun peek in and out from behind the clouds, wondering if we’ll get a stretch of good weather this season. This summer is overflowing with incredible outdoor events – wouldn’t it be nice if the weather behaved for all of them (or even just two or three)? love to know of any and all events going on in Sussex this season. Whether or not the sun comes out this month, we’ve got you covered for all things summer, including our favourite local drinks (p36), seasonal fashion (p39) and perfect picnic recipes (p31). If you’re throwing your own hot weather bash, post your pics to our Facebook page – we’d love to see what you’re up to! I’m particularly looking forward to the Worthing Food and Drink Festival happening over the weekend of 4th-5th July; then fast-forward to August, which is full of exciting events such as Arundel Festival, and the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival.
